Yes our Wipe-On Clear Coat works great to lock in pinstripes or vinyl decals. Our clear coat will also add UV protection to your vinyl decals or pin striping. Make sure to test in a small area before applying over entire pin striping or vinyl decal.
Yes, we would recommend SPRAYING our clear coat over fresh spray paint or any single part paint. Wiping over single part paint or fresh spray paint will rewet the paint and cause streaking.
Our Clear Coat has great adhesion to bare metal. Before applying to bare metal always be sure that any rough profiles have been smoothed down.
Our clear coat works great over pitted rusted surfaces. Just make sure to lightly scuff area before applying.
Single part paints will always rewet with solvent no matter how old they are. So if you wipe our clear over them it can rewet and move the color, causing streaks. It is fine if you spray our clear over the single part paints because you’re not dragging anything across the surface.

Yes of course. Wet sand the edges off of the old clear coat then sand or scuff area you are applying to. Wipe on clear coat fast in an even direction. Do not go back over areas after 30 seconds of applying to avoid streaking. If some areas need to be touched wait 24 hours for full cure and then scuff and reapply to area.
Yes our Gloss and Matte Wipe-On Clear Coat can be mixed 50/50 then mixed 8:1 with catalyst to achieve a satin finish.
Yes the catalyst mixes in the clear coat. 8 parts clear coat to 1 part catalyst (8:1). You can measure it in ounces like 8 ounces of clear coat to one ounce of catalyst.
Lacquer Thinner, Xylene, or Acetone will remove our Clear Coat from any unwanted surfaces such as trim and windows.
