The product
A two-component (2K) protective urethane coating with a textured finish, mixed 3 parts liner to 1 part catalyst.
Truck beds, wood, concrete, metal, aluminum and fiberglass, and most factory (OE) finishes once they are prepped.
Four short-filled 3/4-quart Part A cans, one 32 oz Part B catalyst and a Schutz-type spray gun. Black or Tintable.
Step 1
From the technical sheet.
Clean the surface with Wax & Grease Remover.
Remove all loose paint and rust.
Sand with 180 grit paper.
Use an epoxy primer or etching primer on bare metal.
Mask everything you do not want textured. You will unmask 30 to 45 minutes after spraying.
Step 2
Each Part A can is short-filled. Fill it with 8 oz of the Part B catalyst (3 to 1), replace the cap and shake vigorously for 2 minutes. Remove the cap and attach the can to the Schutz-type gun.
Spray at 40 to 70 PSI.
Apply to the back and sides of the bed first. Spray to hide, then let it flash.
For more texture, use lower pressure and allow a longer flash before the texture coat.
Pot life is at least 50 minutes at 90°F.
Clean the gun with lacquer thinner.

Questions
One kit covers 90 to 100 sq ft at 15 mils, about a full-size long bed. A thicker build or extra areas like rails or a headache rack will use more.
40 to 70 PSI with the Schutz-type gun. Lower pressure, more distance and a longer flash give a heavier texture; higher pressure, spraying closer and wetter coats give a finer one.
Yes. It can be sprayed, rolled or brushed, which gives different textures.
Yes, over most factory (OE) finishes once they are cleaned with Wax & Grease Remover, with loose paint and rust removed and the surface sanded with 180 grit. Prime any bare metal with epoxy or etching primer.
Use the Tintable kit. Add 3 oz of basecoat or single-stage tint to each can before the catalyst, shake for 2 minutes, then add the catalyst and shake for another 2 minutes.
Yes. The technical sheet says it can be applied in direct sunlight at temperatures of 100°F without danger of solvent pop or blistering.
It can go back into service in 4 to 6 hours and reaches full cure in 48 hours.
Poppy's own team sprayed the stripped interior of its Pit Boss project car with Poppy's truck bed liner. Prep an interior floor the same way as a bed: clean it with Wax & Grease Remover, remove loose paint and rust, sand with 180 grit and prime any bare metal.
